### Elaboration

The upper-left pen sketch is the solution to the [Overworld](https://tunic.wiki/books/locations/page/overworld)'s southern flower Holy Cross puzzle. The original owner of the manual messed up their first sketch and scribbled it out before drawing it again.

The upper-right pen sketch is of the [fox](https://tunic.wiki/books/creatures/page/fox), which happens to also appear in a [secret spectrogram](https://tunic.wiki/books/secrets/page/tuneic).

The lower-right pen sketch is the solution to the Overworld's invisible maze puzzle.

The lower-left pen sketch associates the [Trunic](https://tunic.wiki/books/secrets/page/trunic) characters for compass directions with the Trunic characters for up, left, right, and down.
